Why Tai Chi?
Not an easy question as why karate,why bicycling,why philosophy,why physical therapy or why meditation.We have straight forward answers to those questions.
1.karate? self defense,learn how to fight.
2.bicycling?exercise cardio and legs.And possibly compete against other cyclists.
3.philosophy?to see and appreciate life and the world in different and more astute ways.
4.physical therapy?To rehabilitate from past physical injury and learn ways to prevent future injury.
5.meditation?to reduce stress,spirtualize,get past the ego,touch the supernatural.
Who these days would have the time to complete all things on a list like this.I have good news! There is an activity that covers all of those bases and then some.In addition to the above list ; gain health benefits from stimulating the meridian system( I forgot acupuncture), chi development,which is not as mysterious as it sounds and learning to create artistry with the body ( I forgot dance.)
